Technology rarely creates efficiency on its own.
CollaborativeBD was founded in 2016 by Chris Robinson - today a HubSpot Partner - after recognising a recurring pattern across businesses of every size. Organisations approached technology projects believing a new system would solve problems they'd been living with for months or years. But once the software was implemented, many of the original frustrations remained.
In most cases, the software itself wasn't really the problem - either it was working exactly as intended, or it had been switched on without ever being configured around how the business actually needed to work. Either way, the real challenges lived elsewhere - processes that had never been clearly defined, staff completing the same task in different ways, information scattered across spreadsheets and separate systems, and management without reliable visibility into what was actually happening. The technology had simply inherited these issues rather than resolving them.
That's the principle everything we do is built on: technology amplifies the way a business already operates. If the underlying process is well designed, technology makes it faster and clearer. If it isn't, technology usually makes the problem more complicated - not less. So we start every engagement with understanding, before we recommend anything at all.
